Family summer in the Dolomites - Peter Pan

In Falzes/Pfalzen children will get all the attention! All their questions will be answered: How can I climb like a chamois? What does a baker or a forester do all day?  Instead of playing with Game-Boys, computer and Internet children will be tempted to go outside. They can show their skills and courage far from roads and asphalt backyards. They can ride ponies, join children climbing courses, romp, get dirty and tired. They can give their fancy full scope!

Boundless games

The new playground in the sport zone is not just a simple playground but a small adventure paradise for our young guests. Surrounded by high trees, the playground is situated at the edge of a wood far from roads and traffic noise. It is therefore ideal to lie back and relax and to recover from daily stress. While the young ones let off steam at the slides, swings, gym and climbing equipment the adults can make themselves comfortable on one of the numerous benches.

Climbing, the ultimate family fun

Adventure for kids at the riding stable "Grasspeinten"

24th June - 02th September 2009
Feel, touch, pet – reduce the fear of contact, approach small animals like rabbits, lambs, small goats and guinea pigs. A donkey is just next door and sounds like a rusty watering can. Saddle the ponies and ride at the outdoor arena. After all the exercise you might be hungry. So have some delicious grilled sausages which taste better than any gourmet lunch.
Length of time: about 4 hours.

A holiday high up – South Tyrol’s biggest high rope course

Nordic Walking

Take a walking stick - Nordic Walking - every Tuesday
(26th May– 13th October 2009)
The lesson
is about 90 min. long Costs € 5,00 (walking sticks inclusive)
Please reserve at the tourist office by Monday 17.00.

Do you still think it is peculiar to use a walking stick? Just try it out during your holiday. 80% of the back, chest and arm muscles are moved. Without a stick, these muscles are often completely neglected. Using it enhances the walking pace and builds up the training impulses of the cardiovascular system. Walking sticks also relieve your knees. “Vital-Walking” is a perfect sport for people at any age or height and can be done at any time of the year without any additional costs. Up to 400 calories are burnt instead of the 280 when walking without sticks.
The new 275 km long Nordic Walking Park goes from Falzes/Pfalzen via Brunico/Bruneck and Valdaora/Olang to Rasun/Rasen. The paths have different degrees of difficulty. Easy walks such as the beautiful trail to St. Valentin in Falzes/Pfalzen, medium difficult walks such as the one to Irenberg or difficult ones like the Panorama Route across Falzes/Pfalzen.
Trained Nordic Walking instructors will help you at any time. Some of you will be amazed when they notice that their pulse rate is too high at a fast walking speed. This does not stimulate your lipometabolism but burn important muscle protein! Therefore, you should always use a hear rate monitor.
