Across the Pustertal Valley on the ski train
With our direct connections to the slopes, our guests can leave their car at the hotel and travel to the lifts the easy way: by train - every day! Just hop off the train at Perca-Percha and into the gondolas of the Ried cable car!

Do you have a valid ski pass and would like to explore new slopes without having to take the car? No problem at all. There are direct trains running every 30 minutes (on weekdays) or every hour (on weekends) between the resorts Kronplatz and Alta Pusteria-Hochpustertal. Get to know new landscapes and plan your day on the slopes as you like! 

Travel to Kronplatz by bus
Give your car a break - take advantage of our environmentally friendly buses and convenient timetables. There are regular ski bus services between the villages surrounding Kronplatz and the lifts in Brunico/Riscone-Bruneck/Reischach, Perca-Percha, San Vigilio di Marebbe-St. Vigil in Enneberg, Valdaora-Olang/Gassl and Piculin.

Also in winter you have a big choice of leisure and sport activities. A well-lit toboggan run, well-kept cross-country slopes, winter paths, an ice-skating rink as well as curling!
There is a ski hill with a conveyer band for the small ones as well as some fast tires to have fun in the snow.

Tobogganing is up to date again. Tobogganing is absolutely trendy. There are 27 runs in the area and here in Falzes/Pfalzen you can find our local toboggan run, the “Hausrodlbahn”, on the sunny side of the mountain. The run in the sport zone of Falzes/Pfalzen is lit until 22.00. Furthermore, kids will love our tube slide. More information at the sport zone (0474 529129). 
Icy moments – ice-skating  (Tobogganing)

Ski roundabout Kronplatz, South Tyrol’s ski mountain No. 1, „The Ski-Region“ with Top Service, a paradise for snowboarder and skiers.
Against naysayers who consider skiing outdated: it is still up to date! More than ever! We have had lots of snow in the last few winters. Furthermore, the ski-region Kronplatz is one of the most modern ones in the Alps with modern lifts and over 100 km of perfectly groomed slopes. Our snowmaking machines guarantee snow all winter and a daily ski shuttle bus
(Ski bus - timetable) takes you to the first-class skiing area Kronplatz.

The superlative ski tour (Dolomiti Super ski pass requested!)
Every Tuesday you to the greatest ski adventure in the Alps! The run isn’t new, on the contrary: since the time when there were hardly any roads and lifts skiers have circled it once. This route which connects people round the Dolomite area via four passes has always been called “Sella Ronda” by the Ladin inhabitants. Today the name stands for the circling of the Sellastock mountain, skiing on the biggest slopes of the Dolomites with super fast lifts. The Sella Ronda is a ski highlight which lets your heart beat faster (Not recommended for beginners!)

Expierence the world and the magic atmosphere of a night hike through woods and snow-capped meadows.
Night hike though the snowy woods of Pfalzen. You will reach the Moarleitnerhof, after Lothen/St. Lorenzen, where you can enjoy mulled wine or tea, sitting in front of an open fireplace.

Skicarosello is the name given to the skiing area that extends between Corvara, La Villa, San Cassiano and the plateau of Pralong - Cherz. It is a carousel of 25 ski lifts and over 80 km of slopes that to be fully explored requires a minimum of 2 days and does not require a fixed itinerary. For expert skiers the showpiece of the carousel are the 2 black runs: the "Gran Risa" in La Villa, famous for the World Cup men's giant slalom and the "Vallon" to Corvara. The latter, offers 4.3 km of downhill fun with 997 m altitude difference.

Tramping on tennis rackets!
Snowshoeing is just like going on tennis rackets, like a Django (cowboy) with one’s legs apart. Snowshoeing is like a winter dream because you have the feeling of walking in complete solitude only metres away from the road. It’s just like being Jack London! We offer you a snowshoeing tour with experienced guides from our Alpine Ski and Mountaineering School. Our guides will lead you through the snowy forests and fields high above the valley. The tour is entitled “Pure Nature – active enjoyment of winter freshness”. You will soon realise that going on snowshoes is as simple as hiking in summer.

Mere running performance – cross-country-skiing!
Athletes and media have nominated the Kronplatz Holiday one of the best and most beautiful places for cross-country-skiing with its great number of cross-country ski loops. A total of over 200 kilometres of trails cater for both classic and skate skiers– a long way to go.
Every Wednesday you have the possibility to be guided to wonderful cross-country ski loops.
Costs: € 9,00.
